The Snowman is an award-winning children's picture book by English author and illustrator Raymond Briggs, first published in 1978.
This wonderful book was later made into a short film for the British public-service Channel 4. The story begins when a young boy, Billy, moves to a new home he discovers a secret box hidden under the floorboards. In it are a hat, scarf, some lumps of coal and a shriveled tangerine... a snowman-making kit! Later that day it snows and Billy builds a Snowman and, with a little spare snow, a Snowdog. That night, at the stroke of midnight, The Snowman and The Snowdog magically come to life and a marvelous adventure ensues.

Measuring 6 inches tall, this adorable pup is made of the finest white mohair. He has a charming expression with a hand-stitched orange nose and friendly black eyes. His ears are made from a pair of miss-matched socks. Snowdog wears the iconic gold-plated button-in-ear with the classic elephant motif. Exclusively available in the UK and Ireland.
